Investigators Who Took Selfies with Pashinyan are Receiving High Positions: 'Haykakan Zhamanak'

The newspaper notes that investigators who took selfies with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan or appeared at revolutionary podiums are being appointed to high positions.

Speaking with facts, recently, Kamo Sahakyan, the deputy head of the Investigation Committee's Special Investigative Division, was appointed to a new position as the head of the Special Assignments, Organizational-Analytical, and Forensic Division of the Investigation Committee of Armenia.

What is he known for? Pashinyan was summoned on January 15, 2020, to the Committee for questioning in a wiretapping case, where he took a selfie with investigator Kamo Sahakyan.

Another well-known investigator is Navoyan. During the revolutionary rallies of 2018, the captain of the investigative division of the Malatia-Sebastia administrative district took the stage at Republic Square, addressing those gathered by stating, "Nikol Pashinyan was right to say, 'I share your pain'". He added that he could not remain indifferent to the realities in the country and was with the people.

After Pashinyan came to power, Navoyan was appointed as a senior investigator in the Special Investigative Department of the NSS of Armenia.
