Cartoon Published Regarding Erdogan's Statement on Inflation

The Turkish satirical magazine "Uykusuz" has released a cartoon on the cover of its latest issue, addressing Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's recent statements on the prevailing inflation in Turkey. According to ermenihaber.am, the cover features the statement: "Erdogan said regarding inflation: 'Look at the disaster in America and Europe. They cannot find food on the shelves. Thank God, Turkey does not have such problems.'"

However, the cartoon depicts shopping couples placing only one bread in their shopping cart due to high prices and leaving the store saying, "Thank God the shelves are full."

It is worth noting that according to data from Turkey's statistical institute, inflation in Turkey reached 13.58 percent in December 2021.
