Any Type of Advertising for Gambling Will Be Prohibited

The National Assembly has adopted in the first reading a draft amendment to the Law on Advertising, which prohibits any type of advertising for gambling, casinos, or betting, including through radio, television, or the internet, with the exception of their official websites or casinos.

Advertising will also be allowed in 4-star and higher hotels, as well as at control points and in the very buildings where games are held.

The draft was adopted with 56 votes in favor, 8 against, and 16 abstentions.
