Will Russia Provide Tehran with Loans for Purchasing Russian Fighters?

The Kremlin has commented on reports that Russia may provide Tehran with loans for purchasing Russian fighter jets following Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi's visit to Moscow, as reported by Interfax.

“I will leave this question without comment. We do not comment on issues of military-technical cooperation in any way,” said Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian President, to reporters.

Earlier, American media, citing experts, reported that as a result of Raisi's visit to Moscow, an agreement could be reached to provide Tehran with several billion dollars in loans, with which it would receive Su-35 multi-role fighters, two S-400 systems, and a military satellite.
