There is a significant issue with residential burglary in Armenia, with low detection rates, stated Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a government session.

The Prime Minister noted that they have a preliminary feeling that with the help of certain restructuring within the patrol police, they can implement a strong mechanism for preventing residential burglaries.

“There are already specific ideas, but for now we just want to stay focused on the implementation process in the regions, and meanwhile, we will carry out that restructuring and discuss it seriously,” said the Prime Minister.

Armenia's Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan added that his family members have also interacted with the patrol service and noted a significant increase in service quality.

Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Vahram Dumanyan also wanted to talk about the patrol police, to which the Prime Minister jokingly responded, “Mr. Dumanyan, have they taken you to the platform too?”

Dumanyan replied that the attitude towards the police has changed, which is very important.

“Today, unlike previous periods, I notice every day that the relationship between the police and society is very harmonious,” said the Minister.
