I Was a Little Nervous: Simidian on Smiling Frequently While Speaking from the Parliament Podium

I didn't know that smiling could give rise to so many interpretations; it was my first time presenting a report, and I was a little nervous. This was stated by the Minister of Environment Hakob Simidian during a conversation with journalists at the National Assembly, addressing the question of why he was smiling frequently and had difficulty reading the text while presenting a draft yesterday.

“There were very diverse interpretations made, which were unclear as to why. I think that smiling should not give rise to such interpretations, but unfortunately, there were various comments,” he said.
