Gates Warns of More Dangerous Infections Ahead

Microsoft founder and billionaire Bill Gates has warned about pandemics that could be much worse than the coronavirus, urging governments to allocate funds to combat future global outbreaks. This was reported by the Financial Times.

"The philanthropist stated that while the COVID variants 'Omicron' and 'Delta' are among the fastest-spreading viruses ever encountered, the world may face a pathogen that could result in a higher level of mortality or severe illness," the publication quoted Gates.
