Border delimitation and demarcation will not result in any community or territory of Armenia being in a neutral zone, Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan said in a conversation with journalists.

"There is no such danger," Grigoryan assured.

It is noteworthy that Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan announced that the Armenian side has prepared and submitted a package of measures aimed at de-escalating the situation in the Armenia-Azerbaijan border zone, reducing tensions, and increasing security and stability levels, which has been communicated to the Russian side and, through Russian mediation, to Azerbaijan.

"This concerns the mirrored withdrawal of troops, the placement of border guard troops along the border, taking into account the maps existing during the Soviet Union period," Grigoryan elaborated on the details of the proposals package.

He mentioned that they have not yet received a response from Baku.
