Serzh Sargsyan to Hold Press Conference and Reveal New Details

‘Hraparak’ newspaper reports that at the end of the year, it was announced by the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) that former President Serzh Sargsyan would hold a press conference in the second half of January to disclose "new details to the public regarding the negotiations of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict." It was expected that he would respond to the statements made by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during his end-of-year press conference.

Yesterday, we learned that it has been decided not to hold a press conference, but to conduct an interview instead. During this interview, the documents developed and prepared for signing during the negotiations will be presented. Despite not being signed, these documents have not been made public until now. After the last war, they have lost their secrecy significance.

The interview will be conducted by host Davit Sargsyan and will be broadcast on ArmNews television, likely in the last days of January, perhaps on Army Day itself.
