Erdogan Invites Putin and Zelensky to Turkey to Discuss Differences

Turkey is prepared to provide a platform for Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Ukrainian counterpart Vladimir Zelensky for negotiations. This was announced by Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan's representative, Ibrahim Kalin. The information is reported by RIA Novosti.

“President Erdogan has invited both leaders (of Russia and Ukraine) to Turkey and proposed to hold a meeting to address the existing problems and disagreements between them. Turkey is ready to take on any role to reduce the tension between Russia and Ukraine,” said Kalin.

He also noted that the Turkish president intends to visit Ukraine soon.

“At the same time, we will stay in close contact with Russia to avoid any military actions that could have serious consequences,” added Erdogan’s representative.
