Civil Aviation Authority Grants Pegasus Airlines Permission for Istanbul-Yerevan Flights

The Armenian Civil Aviation Committee has granted permission to Turkey's Pegasus Airlines to carry out flights from Istanbul to Yerevan. This was stated by the committee's spokesperson, Lilit Aghabekyan, to 24News.

"They applied, we received the request, the procedures have been completed, and permission has been granted. The flights will begin on February 2," Aghabekyan said.

The Turkish side has announced that Pegasus Airlines has opened ticket sales for the flights. A representative of the airline informed TASS that the flights will be conducted three times a week.

The Turkish Ministry of Transport noted that air communication between Armenia and Turkey will start on February 2. Earlier, Flyone Armenia, an Armenian airline, announced that its flights will operate twice a week.
