World's Oldest Man Passed Away at Age 112

On Tuesday, Spaniard Saturnino de la Fuente passed away at the age of 112, as reported by the Associated Press. He was recognized in the Guinness World Records as the world's oldest man. De la Fuente died at his home in the city of León.

He was born in the Puente Castro neighborhood of León on February 11, 1909, according to Guinness World Records. De la Fuente was a shoemaker and began working in a shoe factory at the age of 13. He survived the Spanish flu pandemic that broke out in 1918 and had eight children with his wife, Antonina, along with 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
