When Will Suren Papikyan's Wedding Take Place and Who Are Invited
According to the 'Jamanak' newspaper, the wedding of Armenia's Minister of Defense Suren Papikyan will take place this Saturday, on January 22. The wedding ceremony will be held at the 'Paravon' restaurant owned by Gagik Tsarukyan.
'Jamanak' has learned that Papikyan has invited both parliamentary and executive team members. It is reported that members of parliament and representatives of the government cabinet are invited along with their partners, wives, and husbands.
Our source denied rumors that Papikyan has recently distanced himself from the team and only interacts with a select group of people. 'There is no such thing; the information related to Papikyan's name is presented in a distorted manner. He interacts just as he did before,' he said.
We also inquired whether the wedding ceremony would start with traditional Armenian instruments like the zurna and the dhol from Stepanavan. 'I don't think so. It will be more modern. The couples will meet at the church, after which the celebration will continue at the restaurant,' he added.
'Jamanak' has also learned that Papikyan's fiancée, Armine Muradyan, is the daughter of Ashot Melikyan, the director of the Institute of History at the National Academy of Sciences.
