New MP from the Prosperous Armenia Party Denies Being Related to Anna Hakobyan

New MP Edgar Hakobyan denied today in a conversation with reporters that he has any familial ties with Anna Hakobyan, as reported by aravot.am.

It is noteworthy that there had been publications in the media claiming that he is the second relative of Anna Hakobyan in the parliament, following Hrachya Hakobyan.

Edgar Hakobyan stated, “In the last two days, there have been numerous speculations regarding this issue, and it is false. Just because my last name is Hakobyan does not mean we are relatives.”
