Manvel Grigoryan's Wife, Sons, and Daughters Summoned by Prosecutor's Office
The court has placed a lien on the property of former National Assembly member, Lieutenant General Manvel Grigoryan, his wife, and their children, upholding the prosecutor's request.
Individuals closely related to Manvel Grigoryan—his wife, sons, and daughters—have been summoned to the prosecutor's office to familiarize themselves with the case materials and to provide their stance.
This information was provided to Sputnik Armenia by the prosecutor's press service.
The lien has been imposed as a measure to secure a claim for the confiscation of unlawfully obtained property. According to the prosecutor's office, the property belonging to them by inheritance is subject to confiscation.
The Prosecutor General's office clarified that the circumstances of death do not exclude the confiscation of property of unlawful origin.
It should be noted that Manvel Grigoryan passed away on November 19, 2020.
