Drone Strikes Hit Abu Dhabi Fuel Depot and Airport

Yemeni Houthi forces have launched drone strikes against a fuel depot and airport in Abu Dhabi. Three people have been reported dead and six others injured.

The Houthis and the UAE have a long history of enmity, primarily fueled by the UAE's support, alongside Saudi Arabia, for the Yemeni government in its fight against the Houthis.

A few days prior, Houthi leaders had warned of a "strategic operation within the country" if the UAE did not cease its "aggression." The Houthis have now followed through on their threats and claimed responsibility for the attacks.
