One-time Financial Assistance for Specific Groups Registered in Artsakh
The President of the Republic of Artsakh, Arayik Harutyunyan, has confirmed the government’s decision to establish one-time financial assistance for specific groups registered in Artsakh, as reported by the Information Department of the President's Office.
According to the decision, citizens registered in Artsakh as of October 1, 2021, will receive one-time financial assistance of 50,000 AMD, including those receiving pensions as of December 1, 2021, those receiving bonuses, and minors under the age of 18 as of the same date.
This decision does not apply to pensioners defined by the law on social guarantees for public officials, nor to citizens displaced from the Republic of Artsakh due to the war or those who have lost residential real estate in Artsakh. The latter group has been receiving monthly financial assistance for four months starting from September 2021, according to a relevant decision by the Armenian government.
The financial assistance will be allocated without requiring a written or online application, based on data from the state population register provided by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Artsakh. Payments are set to begin before February 1.
