France to Implement Vaccine Passports
The National Assembly of France (the lower house of parliament) has adopted a bill on the acceptance of vaccine passports in a final reading. This was announced in a statement published on the parliament's Twitter account.
The bill received 215 votes in favor, 58 against, with 7 members abstaining. The document proposes the replacement of the health pass with a vaccine passport. Citizens will need to present this passport when visiting cafes, bars, restaurants, cultural venues, and also when traveling on long-distance trains.
