Ukraine Accuses Russia of Cyber Attacks on Government Websites

The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Oleksiy Danilov, has accused Russia of cyber attacks on Ukrainian government websites, as reported by tert.am.

In a statement to British Sky News on Friday, he asserted that these attacks were carried out by "Russian specialists."

"We clearly see their handwriting; these operations were conducted by Russian specialists," he said.

When asked if Russia was behind the attacks, he responded that he is "99.9 percent sure of this."

The Security Service of Ukraine announced on Friday that it is investigating a large-scale hacking attack that occurred overnight on several government websites, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Education.
