Snow Expected as Temperatures Decrease

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia reports that significant snowfall is expected in many regions during the night of January 14, throughout the day on the 14th, in the evening hours of the 15th, and during the night of the 16th in certain areas.

From the night of January 15 through the daytime of the 16th, and continuing until the 17th and 18th, the weather is expected to remain dry.

The wind will blow from the northwest at a speed of 2-5 m/s, and the air temperature is expected to gradually decrease by 10-12 degrees from January 14-17.

In Yerevan, precipitation and fog are anticipated during the night and morning of January 14, with snow expected during the same period. Icy roads are likely.

Daytime temperatures in the capital on January 14 will record a chill of 1-3 degrees Celsius at night and a warmth of 0-2 degrees Celsius during the day.
