“No conscript should be at the border; the state must find ways to eliminate this slaughter. How much longer can we endure this meat grinder?” said human rights defender Zara Hovhannisyan during a conversation with journalists today at a protest action in front of the Government.

“When it was necessary to send troops to Kazakhstan, they quickly found a method and complied. Now they should find a method to protect their country and the right to life of the citizens,” Hovhannisyan emphasized.

“The military should undergo major reforms and rearm. This is a state that can provide technology for cemeteries, while the border engineering works are done by kids manually. This is not normal...” the human rights defender remarked.
