VIDEO: Car Crashes Into Gas Pipeline, Major Fire Erupts Due to Gas Leak

On January 13, at 17:48, the National Crisis Management Center received a report that a traffic accident had occurred at the beginning of Artashisyan Street in Yerevan.

Four fire and rescue teams from the Emergency Situations Ministry were dispatched to the scene under a "1 BIS" emergency response code. It was determined that a vehicle had collided with a gas pipeline adjacent to building 42/6 on Artashisyan Street, resulting in a gas leak that ignited a fire.

A "Number 2" fire complexity alert was declared, prompting two additional fire and rescue units to respond. By 18:16, a "Number 3" fire complexity alert was confirmed, leading to the dispatch of four more fire and rescue teams and a fire truck.
