Surən Papikyan and Rustam Muradov Meet: What Was Discussed

On January 13, Armenian Minister of Defense Suren Papikyan received the Deputy Commander of the Southern Military District of Russia, Lieutenant General Rustam Muradov, and the newly appointed commander of the Russian peacekeeping forces in Artsakh, Major General Andrey Volkov.

The Armenian Minister of Defense congratulated Major General Andrey Volkov on his new appointment and wished him success in the peacekeeping mission.

Both sides highly appreciated the efforts of the Russian Federation aimed at stabilizing the geopolitical situation in the region, as well as the progress and effectiveness of the peacekeeping mission in Artsakh.

The interlocutors also exchanged views on issues related to regional security.
