Russian Border Guards Negotiating to Return Shepherd

Azerbaijani forces have abducted the shepherd Surik Matevosyan from the Tegh community in the Syunik province. This information was confirmed in an interview with Sputnik Armenia by Artaq Baghdaghulyan, the secretary of the community administration.

“The Russian border guards have already been informed about the incident, and negotiations are underway to return him,” Baghdaghulyan stated.

He noted that the incident occurred between 16:00 and 16:30, but could not provide further details. The Azerbaijanis also drove away the shepherd's flock.
