Polls Show Poor Results for Erdogan

Polls conducted by the Yonylem research company in Turkey have indicated poor results for President Erdogan. According to Turkish Cumhuriyet, when survey participants were asked whom they would vote for as the country's president if elections were held next Sunday, 37 percent responded with Recep Tayyip Erdogan, while 41 percent chose Ekrem İmamoğlu.

When asked about a potential second round of elections between Erdogan and İmamoğlu, 35 percent of participants favored Recep Tayyip Erdogan, while 49 percent opted for Ekrem İmamoğlu.
