How the Restrictions Coming into Effect on January 22 Will Be Organized: Details
The entrepreneurs are required to develop and implement organizational approaches that will allow them to control the restrictions coming into effect on January 22. This was stated by Nona Hayrapetyan, the head of the Hygiene, Sanitary, and Epidemiological Supervision Division of the Yerevan Territorial Center of the Health and Labor Inspection Body, during a conversation with journalists.
As of January 22, new restrictions are set to take effect in Armenia by order of the Minister of Health, which stipulate that a vaccination certificate or a negative coronavirus test result will be required to enter a number of public places.
Many entrepreneurs are unclear about how and by whom the enforcement of these new requirements will be supervised. According to Nona Hayrapetyan, the Health and Labor Inspection Body will carry out inspections in the form of surprise visits. After January 22, intensified inspections are planned, which will also include checks on compliance with the new requirements.
“The sanitary norm established by the Minister of Health is applicable to all types of business entities. However, the mechanisms for internal organization that the business entity will develop are a matter of internal regulation. In other words, depending on the type of activity, the entrepreneur must develop and implement the organizational approach that will yield the desired results in terms of supervision. The inspection body carries out oversight over the business entity,” she said.
