Drivers Urged to Be Cautious as Roads May Be Icy

Due to a drop in temperatures, icy conditions are expected on the roads during the night of January 13-14. Drivers are urged to exercise caution.

Across the Republic, significant snowfall is anticipated in many regions on January 14 during the night, with snow also forecasted during the daytime of January 15 and in the evening hours on January 16. The weather is expected to be precipitation-free from the night of January 15 through January 18.

Winds will be from the northwest at 2-5 m/s. Air temperature will gradually decrease by 10-12 degrees to 14-17 degrees.

In Yerevan, precipitation and fog are expected during the day on January 13, with wet snow and rain mix on the 13th, and snow on the night and morning of the 14th, leading to icy roads. From January 14 during the day until January 15-18, no precipitation is anticipated.
