Arazmus Community Leader on Abducted Shepherd: 'They Probably Crossed the Border'
Azerbaijanis have abducted a 53-year-old shepherd from the Tegh community in the Syunik region along with his sheep. Aram Hovsepyan, the head of the Arazmus community, shared this information in an interview with NEWS.am.
“They probably grazed the sheep and gradually approached the border. On one side of the border are our people, and on the other side are theirs. They crossed the border, and they immediately went down and took him. The shepherd has 1,000 sheep, divided into two parts, and probably around 500 sheep were with him,” said Hovsepyan.
Hovsepyan mentioned that negotiations will take place with the Russian side to facilitate the return of the Tegh resident.
