The World Knows That Zangezur, Goycha, and Yerevan Have Been Given to Armenia: Aliyev is Again in Delusion

"For the sake of establishing peace in the South Caucasus, Armenia must recognize Azerbaijan's territorial integrity," stated Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

According to him, if a peace treaty is signed between the parties, it should include clauses on the mutual recognition of territorial integrity.

"If Armenia does not want to recognize Azerbaijan's territorial integrity, then we will not recognize their territorial integrity," he said.

In Aliyev's opinion, Azerbaijan has more reasons not to do so. "Everyone knows well, the world knows that Zangezur, Goycha, and Yerevan have been given to Armenia. We have many reasons not to recognize Armenia's territorial integrity. If you don't want it, then we will see what happens. We do not intend to continually ask them for peace. We are doing this for the future of the region and to avoid war. If they do not agree, we will lose nothing; on the contrary, they will lose," said the Azerbaijani president.
