Singer Maksim Needs Lung Transplant After Overcoming Coronavirus

Singer Maksim, who fell into a coma after contracting COVID-19 in 2021, has miraculously managed to overcome the illness. However, it has seriously affected the singer's health.

Sources from "Komsomolskaya Pravda" familiar with the singer’s medical history report that during the time Maksim was on a ventilator, almost all of her lung tissue underwent atrophy. According to the publication, what remains is in "minimal quantity".

The singer is advised to undergo a lung transplant, as it is nearly impossible to restore the tissue damaged by the illness. "It may be possible to preserve only what is there.
