VIDEO: Turkish Nationalists Attack Syrian Shop
A group of Turkish nationalists has attacked a Syrian shop. A video was posted online on January 9, showing protesters attacking a store owned by a Syrian in the Esenyurt district of Istanbul.
During the demonstration, the assailants shouted xenophobic slogans. They specifically yelled, "This is Turkey, not Syria."
The day before, Turkish nationalists also attacked an Afghan refugee in Ankara, inflicting severe injuries.
