Video: Mr. Prime Minister, if you ignore Armenian parents, I appeal to your wife: Mother of Captured Soldier

I have no expectations from the government. Our leadership and the government disregard the captured soldiers and their parents, said the mother of one of the captured soldiers from Shirak during an interview with reporters.

Currently, the relatives of the Shirak captives are holding a protest in front of the Government building.

"Everyone forgets that they are living today, thanks to the lives of these boys. Mr. Prime Minister, if you ignore Armenian parents, I appeal to your wife. Anna Hakobyan, I live in Gyumri, if you would be so kind, please approach us because we have many questions to ask. As a mother, I also want my son to return and live with his family. These children have kept the homeland safe for you. You are securing your life with the lives of our children," said the mother of a captured soldier.

She noted that in the past, they said that the captives were their brothers, but now they disregard the captives and their parents. "They have wrecked our boys’ families and their future. Why have they labeled our boys with the captive tag?" the mother of the captured soldier emphasized.
