Ministry of Defense Issues Statement

On January 11, at approximately 15:15, units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces opened fire on Armenian combat positions located in the Verin Shorzha area of the Gegharkunik region, resulting in one soldier sustaining a medium severity gunshot wound. The fire from the adversary was silenced by the response actions of the Armenian side.

As of 17:00, the situation along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border is relatively stable and is under the complete control of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia.
