How Many Protesters Have Been Arrested During Unrest in Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan's law enforcement agencies have arrested nearly 10,000 people in connection with the unrest that took place in the country. This was reported by the press service of Kazakhstan's Ministry of Internal Affairs on January 11, as noted by Armenpress.

It was mentioned that during inspections, police, together with National Guard and special forces personnel, seized a Makarov pistol and its magazines, body armor, and other combat equipment, TASS reported.
