Armenia's Tax Committee and World Bank Launch Joint Program

On January 11, an official launch was held for the "Development of Customs Administration" program, implemented jointly by the State Revenue Committee and the World Bank. The head of the SRC, Rustam Badassyan, announced this on his Facebook page. The program is funded by the UK’s Good Governance Fund.

The main outcomes of the program will focus on:

• Automation of customs processes and information exchange,
• Improvement of services provided to participants in foreign trade,
• Development of the SRC's analytical capabilities,
• Revision of functions at border crossing points,
• Conducting annual surveys on customs administration.
