Poisoning Incident in Tavush: Family Members, Including Children, Hospitalized

Today, on January 10, a poisoning incident occurred in the Tavush region. At approximately 00:50, the Tavush division of the police received a call from the "Berd" medical center reporting that several citizens had been admitted with a diagnosis of "unknown etiology poisoning."

According to shamshyan.com, a police operational group led by the on-duty officer responded to the hospital. The police discovered that those admitted had come from the village of Verin Karmiraghbyur. The affected individuals include 63-year-old Navasard P., 63-year-old Roza D., 36-year-old Shushan G., 15-year-old Mariam P., and 12-year-old Vahe P.

Investigations revealed that on January 9, the family had consumed canned caviar and red pepper during dinner, which may have led to the poisoning. The Tavush division of the police is preparing materials for this incident. Based on the investigator's decision, a forensic medical examination has been scheduled.

According to site information, all those affected by the poisoning are relatives.
