VIDEO: Situation in Kazakhstan as Updated Map of Protests is Released

Telegram channels have published an updated map of the protests taking place in Kazakhstan, highlighting the hot spots.

Footage is being released from anti-terror operations in Kazakhstan. During the unrest, 164 people have lost their lives. The children's ombudsman has reported that during the chaos, three children—a 4-year-old girl, an 11-year-old, and a 15-year-old teenager—have died. The highest number of casualties was recorded in Almaty, with 103 fatalities. In the Kyzylorda region, 21 people died, 10 in the Zhambyl region, and another 8 in the Almaty region.

More than 2,200 people sought medical assistance during the unrest. Approximately 800 people participated in the takeover of Almaty Airport, resulting in the cancellation of 116 flights, as announced by Kazakhstan's Minister of Internal Affairs Yerlan Turgumbayev.
