New Cases of Coronavirus Registered in Artsakh
On January 8, 50 tests were conducted, resulting in the registration of 4 new cases of coronavirus in Artsakh. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of the Artsakh Republic.
Currently, 56 patients are receiving inpatient treatment for the virus. Doctors assess the condition of 14 patients as extremely severe, and 33 as severe, including young individuals. Mild cases are being treated in outpatient settings.
During 2021, a total of 32,839 citizens were tested for the laboratory detection of coronavirus, with 4,848 positive test results recorded.
The Ministry of Health of the Artsakh Republic once again urges everyone to follow guidelines to avoid new outbreaks and to combat the coronavirus infection as soon as possible. It is also important for the population of the republic to get vaccinated against COVID-19 to protect themselves and their families.
Vaccinations against the coronavirus (COVID-19) are being carried out at the outpatient polyclinic department of the Artsakh Republic Health Ministry's Republican Medical Center, as well as at the regional healthcare institutions in Askeran, Martuni, and Martakert.
The Artsakh Republic Health Ministry informs the population that vaccination cabinets against coronavirus (COVID-19) will operate at the aforementioned healthcare facilities from January 3 to 8, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
