Body of 91-Year-Old Resident Found Near Astghashen Village in Askeran Region

On January 6, a report was received at the regional police department from a resident of Astghashen village, stating that 91-year-old E.A. had left home on January 5 and had not returned. This was announced by the Police of the Republic of Artsakh.

As a result of search operations conducted by the criminal investigation department of the Artsakh Police, the city department of Stepanakert, the Republic of Artsakh's emergency situations state service, and the national security service of Askeran, the body of E.A. was discovered yesterday, January 7, around 13:20 in the administrative territory of the Astghashen community. An external examination of the body revealed no signs of violence.

A forensic examination has been appointed. The investigation is being conducted by the Askeran regional police department.
