Five Airplanes Transporting Belarusian Peacekeepers Arrive in Kazakhstan

Belarusian peacekeepers of the CSTO forces have arrived in Kazakhstan aboard five airplanes. This was reported by Sputnik Kazakhstan.

It is noted that Belarusian Defense Minister Viktor Khrenin had stated that peacekeeping troops from the 103rd Airborne Brigade in Vitebsk were dispatched to the country embroiled in revolution for special operations. This unit is reported to be fully “prepared to carry out such missions” and “composed solely of contract servicemen.”
