Criminal Case Opened Following the Death of Five-Month-Old Infant

The death of a five-month-old infant at the "St. Astvatsamayr" medical center in Yerevan has led to the opening of a criminal case.

The Public Relations and Information Department of the RA Police informed "Factinfo" that a criminal case has been initiated under Article 130 of the RA Criminal Code, which pertains to the failure or improper performance of professional duties by healthcare providers.

It is worth noting that the incident involving the infant's death occurred on New Year's Eve.
