Aliyev Complains to Medvedev: Again Upset Over the Artsakh Issue
The President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, has sent a letter to Dmitry Medvedev, the president of the United Russia party, regarding the visit of his party's deputy Vitaly Milonov to Stepanakert, as reported by APA.
It is noteworthy that Milonov has visited the Republic of Artsakh for the second time on the eve of the New Year, where he held several meetings with the country's officials and distributed gifts to local children.
In his letter, Aliyev expressed strong grievances. Milonov had previously visited Artsakh in October 2020, during a time when military operations were ongoing in the region. He condemned Azerbaijan's aggression against the Armenian people of Artsakh, for which he has since been pursued by Azerbaijani nationalists.
