VIDEO: Control Restored Over All Buildings Previously Seized by Protesters
The Kazakh state television channel Khabar 24, citing the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan, reports that security forces have successfully regained control over all buildings previously seized in Almaty.
“As of this moment, the akimat, the presidential residence, Republic Square, and all government buildings are under control,” the channel stated.
