Agreement to Send CSTO Peacekeepers to Counter Revolution in Another Country: Elibegova

Expert on Azerbaijan Angela Elibegova writes:    "Initially, he was in favor of leaving the CSTO. Then he came to power through a revolution. Afterward, he agreed to send CSTO peacekeepers to prevent a revolution in another country. Later, his supporters experienced cognitive dissonance."   It is noteworthy that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan made a statement yesterday mentioning that based on the request of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and due to threats to Kazakhstan's national security and sovereignty arising from external interference, the CSTO Collective Security Council decided to send CSTO collective peacekeeping forces to Kazakhstan for a limited period to stabilize and regulate the situation in the country.
