State of Emergency Declared Across Kazakhstan
A state of emergency has been declared in Kazakhstan. This was reported by 'Sputnik Kazakhstan'.
'A state of emergency has been declared across the entire territory of Kazakhstan,' the statement reads.
Earlier, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev had declared a state of emergency in the Mangistau and Almaty regions, as well as in Almaty city, until January 19. However, unrest continues.
