‘If an Azerbaijani confronts you, would you kill him?... He said he is Azerbaijani and has remained here with an Armenian surname.’ - Armen Kocharyan

Military personnel Armen Kocharyan wrote on his Facebook page:

“While serving, I was talking to a girl on Facebook. At first glance, her profile didn’t seem fake, and she was also sending her pictures via personal messages, so there was no reason to distrust her. One day she asked where I was serving. I mentioned my location, and then she asked when we go to the posts. I said I couldn’t share that information. She asked many such questions, and I always avoided answering since I didn’t know her personally.

One day, she wrote that she wanted to have a serious conversation with me and that I should respond honestly. I quote: - If an Azerbaijani confronts you, would you kill him? - Without too much thought, I replied that I would drink his blood. She didn’t respond to that message for months, and I didn’t write back, so we lost touch until I returned from my post.

I posted a picture on Facebook, and she commented that she wanted to see me to talk seriously again. You probably understand that from the beginning, there was intrigue in this story, and it was clear I wouldn’t refuse. I was curious too...

We met, and the first thing she said to me was that she was Azerbaijani, that both her mother and father were Azerbaijani, and they changed their surname and remained in Armenia. She also said that most of her relatives are in Armenia and that she knows many Azerbaijanis who have kept Armenian surnames here.

I believe it would be appropriate for the entire nation to take DNA tests instead of COVID tests to figure out what percentage of real Armenians exist in Armenia. This is the solution to the question because today we all witness actions that Armenians are not capable of. If you were born and raised in Armenia, I think you have heard that being Armenian is a high title; Armenians are of noble descent and not petty bourgeois celebrating fireworks worth 2500 drams.

Check your ethnic background and return to your roots. Leave Armenia for real Armenians who understand that a whole army is in the cemetery, that Artsakh is occupied, that the Syunik region and all of Gegharkunik province are in danger. What are you celebrating and what are you happy about if you are a real ARMENIAN?”
