Snow, Difficult Roads. Emergency Services Warn

As of January 4 at 17:00, snow is falling on the roads of the Ashtarak and Sevan regions and the Vardenyats Pass. This information has been reported by the Road Department Foundation.

There are icy spots in the Gorayk-Zghuk and the Zanger section of Sisian, as well as in the Tigranashen bends. Due to heavy snow and low visibility, the Vardenyats Pass is impassable for all types of vehicles.

Road construction teams are conducting snow removal and salt-sanding operations on the roads. All interstate and national highways are open.

To avoid accidents, incidents, and traffic jams, drivers are advised to use winter tires.
