Fireworks Injure Four Children on New Year's Eve
On New Year's Eve, four children were admitted to the 'Holy Mother of God' Medical Center with injuries from various types of fireworks. The hospital reported this via their Facebook page.
Two of the children suffered amputated fingers as the firework exploded directly in their hands, while the other two had relatively minor injuries. The children were treated by plastic surgeons at 'Holy Mother of God' Medical Center and have since been discharged from the hospital.
