No Leniency Will Be Shown: Statement by the Chief of the Road Police

The Chief of the Road Police of the Republic of Armenia, Police Colonel Egor Karapetyan, has issued a message on the occasion of the New Year. He stated: “Dear drivers, passengers, and pedestrians, on behalf of myself and the team of the Road Police, I congratulate you on the occasion of the New Year and Christmas holidays.

In the coming year, I wish you peace, prosperity, and safe travels. By the order of the Chief of the Police of the Republic of Armenia, the Road Police will implement enhanced services during the festive days to ensure the safety of our residents, anticipating your discipline as a sign of effective cooperation.

I urge all participants in road traffic to remain vigilant, strictly observe all traffic rules, and refrain from operating vehicles under the influence of alcohol. I warn you that no leniency will be shown for any violations, and all measures provided by law will be applied.
