Saakashvili Does Not Have Conditions That Cannot Be Treated in Georgia, Says Doctor on Overseas Transfer

The neurologist Tengiz Tsuladze, a member of the group of doctors established by the Public Defender, stated that Mikheil Saakashvili does not have diagnoses that cannot be treated in Georgia. This was reported by the neurologist to journalists in Gori, according to 1tv.ge.

“The purpose of the visit was to check the current situation, as there were plans for a transfer. It was necessary to understand how justified that was, what the outcomes of the studies were, how Form 100 was compiled, and on what grounds the restrictions were imposed. That was our purpose for coming here, but we were denied access,” Tsuladze said.

In response to the question about the overseas transfer of Saakashvili, the doctor stated, “He does not have conditions that cannot be treated in Georgia.”
